CurbsideYard Waste Collection

The Town of Prescott collects compost, brush, branches, leaves and other yard waste on the last Wednesday of the month from April through to November. Weather conditions and h igh volumes of waste can spread curbside collection over several days.

2021 Curbside Yard Waste Collection Dates:

  • April 28
  • May 26
  • June 30
  • July 28
  • August 25
  • September 29
  • October 27
  • November 24

Effective, 2020 yard waste must be placed in paper bags; unfortunately plastic bags will no longer be accepted for curbside pickup. This will greatly reduce the amount of plastic entering the compost site, and the hours of staff time cutting and emptying the bags.

We appreciate your understanding and thank you in advance for your cooperation.

The Town of Prescott no longer sells residential compost bins.
