Today I am sharing a corner to corner baby blanket with a Costless pattern. This is the blanket I knitted over the long weekend and information technology is a mesomorphic knit that comes together rapidly. I have to say this is probably the fastest I take always knit and finished a blanket ever. And I have been knitting a LOT of blankets over the by few years.
The pattern and concept of this blanket are super simple and nothing new.
It'southward an age-onetime blueprint frequently called the Increment subtract blueprint, C2C blanket, Diagonal knit blanket, or the Bias knit square blanket.
Whatever you call it is basically a blanket that you can just mindlessly knit- not much of a pattern to follow just rows of knits and purls.

WHAT KNITTING NEEDLE TO USE:
I used a 31.five inch long 8mm circular needle for my coating. You knit back and forth on the circular needle and not in the round. The circular needle is simply to accommodate a big number of stitches. HOW TO KNIT A CORNER TO CORNER Babe BLANKET:

I added the garter stitch chunk to add more stability and avoid a whorl at the edge of the coating. But it actually wasn't necessary, since the Make 1 stitch at the kickoff of each row prevents the coating from crimper.

While this is the fastest blanket I have knit, it doesn't mean it is small-scale in size. The finished blanket measures approximately forty by 40 inches. And it is and then much fun to watch the blanket grow stripe past stripe.

SUPPLIES USED:
The colorway I chose for today's corner to corner infant coating has a retro experience to it. I utilise 5 colors of yarn for my blanket (white color not photographed beneath) and they are all Bernat Softee Chunky skeins. This is not a sponsored mail, I buy most of my yarn online, and stock up my yarn stash during sales.
For this blanket size, I used 1 skein of the Teal, 2 skeins of the Sea Green, ii skeins of the Natural, two skeins of the Glowing Aureate, and ane skein of the baby pink. That's a total of 8 skeins to create the stripe blueprint that I have. If you were to make this blanket in 1 solid color you would probably only need v or 6 skeins. I would say 6 skeins to be on the safer side. Below is a list of everything:

NOTES:
- This blanket can be easily adjusted to suit your color needs and yarn stash. You tin make it with but two colors to create a unproblematic and easy striped coating. Or make it as colorful as your yarn stash is! The choice is yours.
- If y'all are a beginner, I would recommend you make this unabridged coating with just the garter stitch. And in one solid color itself. Hither is the pattern yous would need to follow.
